Greece: Sunday, June 12, 2011. Predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Mildred Leschander; her daughter, Sandra Marie; her grandson, Thomas Charles; husband, Joseph H. George. Survived by her son, Joseph Jr. (Betty) George; daughters, Susie (Mike) Gilliland, Sharon Lee (Bob) Rossborough; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; cousins, Jerry and Mary Lonsbury; daughter-in-law, Kathy (Mark) Haven; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 9:30 AM at St. Mark’s Church, 54 Kuhn Rd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Joe and family, I am so sorry to hear about your mom and grandmother….I remember her a delightful, fun loving person…..I know her and my beloved Charles as having a drink, watching out for us and probably shaking their heads at times….Hugs, Karen Matthews

We did not have the pleasure of meeting Audrey but knowing Joe, we know that she must have had a heart of gold and a determination of steel!! Betty has also told me that from their first meeting. that Audrey was a very special person. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the friends and family during this difficult time.
