Without question, Captain Reynolds was one of the best commanding officers I ever served under. When he was assigned as Commanding officer of the RPD K-9 unit, he was always working with the unit members and not just the boss. He shall be missed by many of us who knew or worked with him. Our condolences to the Reynolds family. Rest in peace Captain, you earned your keep.

My deepest sympathy to the Reynold’s family for the passing of Art. When I first met him, I was a young cop, and he treated the young guys like he treated everyone, with deep respect. He also was willing to offer advice, and it was always sound advice. May you rest in peace brother.

Capt. Reynolds was a great guy to work for. As the Staff Duty Captain he had a calming presence who treated everyone with courtesy and respect. We were fortunate to work for him as we always knew he would help us reach the proper solution to any situation. Rest in peace. Retired Lt. Jim Keenan

Capt. Reynolds’s was always a gentleman. With his trademark two portable radios he would arrive at a scene, ask what you had and what you needed. A great boss that let you do the job. 410, 10-7, RIP Captain

Art – I too am sorry to hear of the loss of your father. This is a sad time for your family. I truly believe we all live on spiritually after death. He is now welcomed by our ancestors into heavenly life. Now he knows the answers to the questions that we keep having in our genealogy search. Some people say that the spirits of those before us guide us in our search here. Pray and the answers will come.
