Anna C. Di Pietro Wemes
Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at age 96 went home to be with the Lord; her sisters, Lucy (Frank) Palmeri, Filomena “Fannie” DiPietro, Mary (Charles) Grizzanti; nephews, James and Dr. Charles (Donna) Grizzanti; nephew-in-laws, Leslie Goldstein ,John Ricigliano, grand nieces Lisa Marie Ricigliano and Danielle Grizzanti. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews who were like her sons and daughters; Richard N. (Christina) and Nicholas J. (Joann) Grizzanti; nephew, Steven (Yusi) Grizzanti; nieces, Doreen Goldstein and Jeanne Ricigliano and Donna (James) Grizzanti; many grand and great-grand nephews and nieces.
Anna was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. In her earlier years she was active with Color Guard and Toastmasters. She loved to learn and had many talents. She received her cosmetology license, was known as a “museum quality” artist quilter, knitter and seamstress. Anna shared her amazing artwork with many! Anna will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Anna’s family would like to extend appreciation to all the staff at Jewish Home of Rochester for the love and care given to Anna over the last two years.
