Greece: Monday, October 15, 2007 at age 65 after a courageous battle with cancer. Angela is survived by her husband, George S. Marcello; children, David (Maureen) Marcello, Deborah (Thomas) Bernacki, Laurie (David) Miraglia & Ronald (Donna) Marcello; brothers, Louis DeLucia & Dr. James (Rita) DeLucia; grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexandra, Daniel, Christian, Lauren, Andrew, Elliot, Nina, Justin, Benjamin & Caitlyn; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends. Friends may call Thursday, 4-7 P.M. at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday 10 A.M. at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Dear George and Family; I send a hug to each of you today. My heart hurts with you at the loss of Angela. You were all a wonderful example of dedication to your wife, Angela and your mother. She is lucky to have you all. Angela is now at peace with Christ Jesus where she will spend eternity. You will see her again someday. Dear George, Debbie, Laurie, David and Ron, Louie, Jim and Rita, Aunt Mary and families, I have been thinking of you all and praying throughout this very sad time. I am so sorry for the loss of Angela. She was a lovely woman who showed respect to all. It was always a pleasure to see her at Jim and Rita’s events, and at Jim’s office. I know how close your family is and I pray that you will be given strength and peace of heart in time. I told Rita and Jim that I will be away on a business trip from Thursday morning through Saturday. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the calling hours or the funeral. Dear George, Laurie, David, Ron and Debbie… I regret this is so delayed, but I wish to send my condolences to you all. I know you are grateful that she has passed over, in one way, yet the reality of her physical absence must be profound. I loved meeting each of you and was grateful to be a part of Angela’s care. How I wish there was something that could be said or done to make this most difficult time easier for all of you. Angela was truly a gentle woman who was always thinking of others. How blessed we feel to have known her. You are a close family and will have many wonderful memories to help you over the years to come. She loved you all so much. We will always remember the great conversations about holiday cooking and how much we both enjoyed our places up at the 1000 islands, when we went for our visits to the dentists office. She always talked about you George and your great kids. Remember the good memories to let the pain lessen.
