Amy, through the years we have had so many memories together. From high school, to the pub, my wedding, 10 yr reunion. Even when I lost touch with you years later, I still thought of you often. I’m so glad we reconnected and to find out you were as huge a Yankee fan as I, was so exciting. And best of all that I could tell you I loved you. You gave me some great advice a couple months ago that really helped me out. You’re with Kevin now and I told him to take care of you. Chris and I share a common bond now that is not understood by many. The pain is so great for Kevin and now my dear friend. I will think of you daily with a smile remembering the great person that you are. I love you Amy!!
Amy, unfortunately, for me, I only knew you for all too short a time. But, wow, did you ever make an impression with your smile, your humor, your fight, and your determination. I will dearly miss you.
Amy, you always put a smile on our faces (especially Bob’s!). Even on a bad day for you, you managed to make others laugh. Judging by all the entries in this guestbook, you touched a lot of people and we are blessed.
Amy, I will always remember the great times we had. Friends like you are one in a million. I will remember you always.
Amy, You are my hero. You are in my heart forever. I love you. Your sister, Cindy

Chris and family, We are so sorry that we could not all be there in your time of grief. We will all miss Amy and remember her fondly. We are comforted by the testimony Amy gave to nancy before her death, and we all look forward to the day when, with Amy, we can rejoice in the fact that death has been defeated and that life is eternal. May God bless and comfort all of Amy’s friends and family. 1 Cor 15:55-57: O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Love, The Pettyjohn Family (Rockmart, GA) Nancy, Paul, Rachel, Sarah, Katie, and Jeff

Chris, I was saddened to hear of your loss from Steve Wallace. I know nothing I can say can possibly make you feel better. I never was able to meet Amy , but from the stories at our card games ,I could tell that she was a special person and that you were a lucky and better man for having her in your life. Chris, I can only say that my thoughts are with you , and I pray the God puts his arms around you and the rest of the family and eases your pain and grief. Tim Lewis
Chris, My deepest sympathy to you. There is nothing in this world that anyone can say to help ease the pain. You may not realize this but as time goes on it will get eaiser and eaiser to face every days life, especially when you loose the love of your life. You will not believe this, but I am truly sorry to hear of the passing of Amy. My heart aches for you.
Dear Chris, We have been so blessed to have both you and Amy in our lives for so many years-Amy has been such a special spirit in our lives–a ‘Sister,’ a’Daughter,’ an ‘Auntie’ and a best friend. We are so blessed to have had so much time together–time to talk–time to garden–time to play–time to shop–time to cry–time to celebrate. We have been through a lot together–the best of times and the worst of times–hand in hand. You will both always be a special part of our family. You know we are here for you–a helping hand, a hug, a fishing pole–anything you need. We are always here. All our love, Smitty, Ann, Kimmy, Terri, Danny and the boys

I am so bummed that I didn’t read Amy’s obit in the paper. We were special friends, not just because I am a bartender, but because of Amy’s warm and wonderful feistiness. I was keeping in touch with friends at the Grove and her progress, but hadn’t talked to anyone in a few weeks. Heaven will be a better place with her there. Chris, I am so very, very sorry. I was at your wedding and I know how happy both of you were. Your heart will ache, but fond memories will get you through. God Bless. Dick
I can’t begin to tell you how sorry I am of Amys passing. I don’t ever remember her without a smile on her face. She will be deeply missed by all.
I was truely blessed to have met Amy , and boy she made the best drinks around. She was always smiling and made me laugh. I know your spirit will always be at Bernard’s, you are missed and loved. May God be with Chris and heal him each day and always have the memories to keep him going.
I will always miss you!
I would like to extend my sincere sympathies to the families. I have to say that my husband and I knew Mickey and Athena back in 1966/67. They used to live next door to my Mom and step-father in Penfield – Paul and Rene Fallon on Starwood Drive. I also believe that my daughter Mindi knew Amy – not sure if from school. Mindi went to Arcadia High School in Greece and graduated in 1985. Again, sincere sympathies to you. Helena Puckering
I’ll get back to ypu.
I’m sorry I wasn’t at the services. I was out of town. Amy was a great girl!! Lots of good laughs with her when I would come into the Grove. I am glad I had the pleasure to know her.
Jacque, Curt and Makayla Our prayers are with you. God bless. Randy, Stacy and Ariana
Love conquers all…
My heartfelt sympathy to Chris and family. You are in my prayers. I am truly saddened by Amy’s passing. I met her at Bernards and always looked forward to seeing her there. She could make a tough day seem so much better. You already know she touched many lives. She had that way of making others feel very special with her one of a kind smile and positive attitude. She will definitely be missed. She was such a wonderful person so full of life. I met her at Bernards and always looked forward to seeing her there as she could make a tough day seem so much better. She knew how to make others feel very special when she smiled.
One day God said what can i give the people of the earth thats special? he said it has to a gift that will make a difference, a gift that will leave a mark that will last forever, a gift that will make people smile. that gift was Amy. But she was so special that he only gave her to us for a short time, you see God needs a gift that will make him smile too

We are so sorry for your loss, Amy was a beautiful woman. George and I used to go to the Grove House every Friday after work for dinner and to have a drink made by Amy. We give you our deepest sympathy for your loss. We enjoyed her at The Grove. She was always lively, cheerful and so very full of life in spite of all her difficulties. She was a trooper.
We had our first date at Bernard’s, Amy made our drinks. I remember her saying you two look so happy together, and so in-love. She was right, 8 years later and married, and still very happy and in-love. She had a great smile, and real knack for conversation. So sorry about your loss. Sincerely, Todd & Andrea Gillette
