Alice was a special lady and I enjoyed working with her in Greece Central School District. (Arcadia and Olympia -1968 – 2002). Our paths would cross at our District library meetings and dinners. My deepest sympathies to your family.

Alice was instrumental in starting my daughter Amy at age 5 in taking piano lessons! While sitting in church one Sunday, Alice noticed Amy plaing along w/ her fingers to the music. We found a teacher (Mary Brown) and …Amy plans to study Music in College! Thanks Alice for getting the ball rolling! I remember the strong friendy Alice. She will be deeply missed. Thank you Alice for making the world a ‘notably’ brighter place! Sending our condolences to Tom and your children. Anne & Rick, Renae and Amy Pepe.

I remember so many happy memories as a young child on Coolidge Road with your family, before we moved away in 1962. My brother, Lee and I enjoyed playing together with John and Val. Val was Lee’s first little girlfriend. I am thinking of you, and know that this is a hard time. My Mom, Lorraine, died suddenly, in 2000, and Lee died in 2005. Losses are hard, but good memories and fun times are special. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers the coming days. I am a NP at Strong now, and enjoy being in health care and helping others. My dear Alice and her family – Oh those wonderful days together as librarians of Greece Central. Those were the glory days and Alice was instrumental with putting us on the library map. So many students are the better for having been under her care and watch. Keep reading Alice – rest in the arms of Jesus and listen to the words of a job well done. We will all be together some day and the laughs will continue. Allan (librarian Greece Athena/Greece Arcadia 1970-1998). Now, Bishop Kearney High School 2000 –

Our condolences to Tom , John, Valerie and Alice’s extended family. I was telling my sons about Alice today and the way they remembered Alice was that she was a ‘ nice neighbor and we liked to talk to her’. We truly miss the presence of Alice and Tom down at Cozy Cove. I still have memories of both Alice’s & Toms nightly swim up and down the lake . Alice will always be remembered as a truly wonderful woman in many ways and she left many memories for us and everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
