Alfred E. Crocetta

Alfred E. Crocetta “Lefty” Greece:  passed away on September 20, 2020 at the age of 96. Alfred was born in Rochester NY to Sam And Angelina Crocetta (Ardito) Alfred served his country with honor in the Army and received a Purple Heart after being injured on the battlefield in France during World War II. He is Predeceased by his loving wife Betty.  Survived by 4 sons, Alfred Jr.      (Kathleen Gugliuzza), Michael (Todd ) David, Daniel (Mindy Homer); 4 daughters, Angela Crocetta , Pamela Casserino, Cindy Bray Crocetta (Randy) and Tina Guadagno (Tony); he is also survived by a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alfred loved being a husband and father, two things that he excelled at, sometimes working two jobs to provide for his family. When he found time for leisure activities he played hardball or bowled in his younger days. Later in life he would pass the time watching his beloved Yankees or Football games on tv. He was happiest being with his kids watching the game. He always considered himself somewhat of a cowboy and was a huge fan of westerns, his favorite was John Wayne. He lived by the motto “ Don’t make life hard for other people, it’s hard enough out there and hopefully they won’t make it hard for you too”. The family would also like to express their gratitude to the Veterans Administration and to all his caregivers. All services will be held privately.
