Alan D. Whitney

Charlotte: June 23, 2012 at age 53. Predeceased by his father, Robert E. Whitney. He is survived by his mother, Ruby; brother, Robert; sisters, Joyce (Joseph) Galatio, Sharon (James) Nusbickel, Cathy and Dawn Murrin; nephews, Stephen and Shane Galatio, and Zachary Yost; nieces, Shara (Pete) DuBois, Keri Galatio, Taylor and Whitney Nusbickel; 2 great nieces, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Alan was a United States Army Veteran. Family and friends may call Thursday, June 28th, 5-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Memorial Service will follow visitation at 7 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or Veteran Outreach Center.
