Rochester: January 31, 2011 at age 94. Predeceased by her husband, Donald Opitz & grandson, Geoffrey Opitz. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Thomas) Raab; son, Gary (Ruth) Opitz; grandchildren, Karen (Steven) Edgar, Joseph (Lisa) Raab, Patricia (James) Spry, Andrew (Chantel) Raab, Tracy (David) Nappi, Kathleen Corby, Matthew Opitz & Meredith Opitz; great-grandchildren, Kristi, Stephanie, Melodie, Julia, Miranda, Michael, Jessica, Samantha & Ryan; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. Friends may call Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday, 9:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Road. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park will follow Mass.
