William J. Dean “Bill”

March 25, 2026 at age 68.  William is predeceased by his parents, Howard and Frances Dean; brother, Joseph Dean; sister, Linda Groulx; best dog, Izzy.  He is survived by his loving children; Nick, Alicia (Alexa), Shawn (Christina); grandchildren, Harper, Emerson, Tyler and Madison.  

Bill was happiest on the beach, with live music playing and his dog Izzy by his side. He loved boating, visiting the 1000 Islands, and attending muscle car shows. His love of the Buffalo Bills persisted year after year, even in January. 

Bill never met a stranger; he couldn’t go anywhere without running into an old friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Bill’s visitation will be held Sunday, March 29th, from 2 PM to 5 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road.  Private entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Rochester and Finger Lakes Region (www.alz.org) in his memory.
