William R. Burke

Greece: Sunday, December 1, 2013 at age 83. Predeceased by parents, Norman & Catherine Burke; his sisters, Catherine Smith & Jean Baldin. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Catherine Burke; his children, Carol Burke & Raymond (Kristy) Burke; granddaughters, Morgan & Maressa; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. William was a proud Army veteran of the Korean War, a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company, an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. Friends may call Wednesday (December 4th) 4-8 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 9:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church. (Ridge Road) Rev. Timothy Canaan, Celebrant. Private Interment.
