March 24, 1926 ~ August 28, 2007
GREECE: Tuesday, August 28, 2007. He is predeceased by his wife, E. Jean Cleaveland and 7 siblings, including Ed and Charlotte. He is survived by his children, John and Sharon; grandchildren, Noel and Amanda Foraker and Donovan Pavano; many nieces and nephews. He was a Kodak employee for 39 years.
No prior calling. William's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Yates County Genealogic and Historical Society, 200 Main Street, Penn Yan, NY 14527.

John, we are sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. He was such a nice man. We have memories of him at the Mother of Sorrows Festivals…he enjoyed his limberger-cheese sandwiches & a beer. We also saw him once in awhile at Dorsey Rd. Post 468 American Legion. He always had a smile and kind words. When we asked how you were doing, he always enjoyed telling us..He was proud of you, for sure……We also used to run into your Mom at the Athena Restaurant occasionaly. She also was a very nice person. Being neighbors for the past 37 years, it is sad to hear of your Dad’s passing, (and your Mom’s,) but know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your sister at this time…Sincerely, Barb & Dan Burgmaster and family.
