Rochester: Friday, February 19, 2010. Predeceased by his parents, William and Susan Baconcini. He is survived by his brothers, James Baconcini and Eugene (Roseann) Baconcini; sister, Margaret Baconcini; dear nieces, Nicole (Darren) Blum, Sherri Baconcini and Michelle Baconcini; many dear cousins and their families; dear friends, Chester and Peggy Barton, Jack Randall; brothers forever, Chester and Jack. William was a proud Navy Veteran and a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.
Friends may call Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Blossom View Nursing Home, 6884 Maple Avenue, Sodus, NY 14551 in his memory

I want to offer my sincere condolences to the Baconcini Family for their loss of William. May you find inner strength and peace in dealing with this, your time of sorrow.
My brothers Bernie , Dennis and I were saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. We have such wonderful memories of growing up with all of you on Frances Street in the city.I last spoke to Bill at your Dad’s funeral mass. It was so nice to reconnect with him and chat for a few minutes. Bill’s passing is a terrible loss at such a young age. Please know all of you are in our prayers and thoughts. I hope memories of happier times give you comfort.
