Walter William Scott

Greece: Sunday, March 30, 2014 at age 85. Predeceased by his parents, Walter & Alice Scott; wife of 40 years, Lorraine Scott; sister, Shirley Randolph. Survived by his sons, Walter (Dianne) Scott and Donald (Ann) Scott; grandchildren, Dawn (Devron) Mixon, Rachel (Matt) Smathers, Lori Scott and Michelle (Josh) Carlson; great grandchildren, Tyler, Brenna, Haley, Damon, Emma, Conner and Tristin; many nieces and nephews. Walter was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served in WWII. He retired from Eastman Kodak Co., a member of VFW Post 468 where he participated in the Honor Guard and attended Honor Flight in 2010 and a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. Walter enjoyed square dancing, golf, bowling and playing cards. Walter's visitation will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2014, 4-8PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd., Greece Chapel. His funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 1:00PM at All Season Chapel of White Haven Memorial Park with Full Military Honors. (Please meet family at the gate of the cemetery). Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in Walter's memory.
