Walter Ashmead, Jr.

GREECE: Thursday, November 23, 2006. Predeceased by his wife, Kathleen J. Ashmead and son-in-law, John H. Weiss. He is survived by his childred, Geri Baron of Buffalo, David(Florence Castello)Ashmead, Richard(Kristina)Ashmead, Bruce(Sue Connor)Ashmead, Lori Weiss and Steven Ashmead of Oregon; grandchildren, Jillian, Jamie, Shawn, Kyle, Joseph, Benjamin, Bradley, Ryan(Denise) and Brittany; special friend, 'Kitty' the cat; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends. Walter is a Veteran of the US Air Force and is a retiree of DuPont after over 40 years of service. Friends may call Sunday, 1-4PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His funeral Service will be held Monday 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Riverside Cemetery.
