Greece: Blessed with a beautiful and full life, surrounded with the love of a large family, Virginia was called home to the Lord on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the age of 87. Predeceased by her parents, August and Mary Minoia; sisters, Teresa Tantalo, Emily Bonadio, Angie Momano, Irene LaDelfa, Margaret Rossi, Marian Farash; Survived by her loving husband, Joe Goodyear; sons, Robert (Judy) Goodyear, Richard (Debbie) Goodyear; daughters (Meg) Mary Ellen (Ron) Northrop, Marilyn (Glenn) Pettinger, Marie (Mark) Veness; 12 grandchildren, 11 (and one on the way) great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a number of special friends. Friends may call Monday, 3-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10 AM at St. Margaret Mary's Church 401 Rogers Parkway Rochester, NY 14617. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association 435 East Henrietta Road Rochester, NY 14620.
