Greece: Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Predeceased by his wife, Margaret E. Nixon (Little); stepsons, John Richard Neufeld, Dennis (Victoria) Gunn; step-grandchildren, John (Nichole) Neufeld, Jennifer Albrecht, Shawnie Castellow; great-grandsons, Kenneth Steurrys and Tyler Neufeld; dear friends.
No prior calling. His Funeral Service will be held Monday (Aug 22nd) 10:00 AM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Entombment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm or Hope Lutheran Church in his memory.

I have know Tom since 1968 and is the grandfather of my children and there children. Tom was a school teacher and was loved by all. They even named the Schools street after him. He was a loving, soft spoken, patient caring man. My children could not have asked for a better gandfather or grandmother Margaret they were always there for them and he will be so missed.God Bless you Tom and I know you are in a better place and know longer suffering.
Mr. Nixon was my fourth grade teacher at Durand-Eastman School many years ago. He was one of my favorite teachers. I am sorry for his loss.
