Thomas Dolan
July 28, 1922 ~ May 30, 2011
Irondequoit: Monday, May 30, 2011. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Mary (Wall) Dolan; son, Michael Dolan; brother, James Dolan; sisters, Esther Colucci and Margo Bagne. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Dolan; sons, Patrick Dolan, Thomas Dolan, III; daughter, Mary Ann (Michael) Shaughnessy; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; dear friends. Tom was a forty year retiree of Eastman Kodak. Tom served in the 4th division of the U.S. Marine Corp. and was seriously wounded in Iwo Jima. Tom was a lifelong member of the VFW Post #468 and the Marine Corps. League.
No prior calling. His Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday 11:00 AM in the Chapel of St. Ann's Home, 1500 Portland Ave. Private interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Hospice in his memory.
