Thomas A. Roncinske
September 17, 1936 ~ May 12, 2008
Greece: Monday, May 12, 2008 at age 71. Predeceased by his brother, John. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy M. Roncinske; sons, Thomas A. (Jackie) Roncinske,Jr. and James M. Roncinske; twin brother, Jerry (Ruth) Roncinske; brothers, Richard (Diane) Roncinske and Bernard (Barbara) Roncinske; sisters, Sr. Miriam Therese SSND and Patricia Meyer; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Roncinske; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins; many friends.
Tom is a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He has been member of the American Legion Post #468 for many years, serving as a board member and treasurer. Tom was also a key member of the American Legion Home Corporation.
Friends may call Thursday 4-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10 A.M. at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons Street, P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057 or St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue, Rochester, NY 14616.

Although we have drifted apart over the years since Gram’s death, I will always remember you, Uncle Tom, as a very kind, devoted, spirited and jovial man who knew how to live life to the fullest. Bless you.

Tom was a very special man who will be missed.
Tom, may God bless. My prayers are with you and the family. You would stop and see my dad Peter Born who lived on the next street (Dalkeith RD)from your in-laws. He always enjoyed your visits as did I, when I happened to be there.

When I was looking for a driver-delivery guy, I must of spent 3 years looking until a friend in the buisness referred Tommy to us at Lancet Arch and Catenary Construction. What a surprise, I had quailified that this person needed a good knowledge of the contruction industry, little did I know Tommy knew everything and everyone in the buisness. Tommy was alway there for us, ready to go go go, getting things done and if you were not prepared to unload his truck, he’d keep right on going to the next job. At 68,69 years old he had more energy than most 21 year olds. Tommy had a way about him. He was loved here and while he’d do anthing for us we would in kind.
Tommy’s name will alway be on our delivery truck as it was in gold leaf ‘Tommy Truck’ but we’re going to add ‘Hey, got a hundred, I gotta go’
