Theodore J. Natkin “Ted”

Friday, September 30, 2022, at age 80 went home to be with his parents, Theodore and Betty Hnatkin; brother, Dennis Hnatkin; sister-in-law, Joyce Struczewski. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Bev Natkin; children, Michael (Cristine), Jim (Paula) and Kathy Natkin; grandchildren, Alexandra, Samantha, Jessica and Taylor; sister, Linda Marsh; brother-in-law, Ed Struczewski; like a daughter, RaeAnn Mastrodonato; loving family and dear friends.

Ted was a retiree at Gates-Chili School District as a Chemistry Teacher. In his earlier days, he enjoyed square dancing and loved to travel with Bev especially on cruises. He was an avid fisherman and had a passion for reading books. He enjoyed golf with his colleagues, birdwatching, and watching TV games shows. He always seemed to know the answers for Jeopardy and was known as the “Jeopardy Aficionado” within the family. He loved spending quality time with his loving family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ted’s visitation will be held Tuesday October 4th 2-5 PM at VAY-SCHLEICH & MEESON 1075 Long Pond Road. His graveside service will be held Wednesday October 5th 12 NOON at Hillside Cemetery, Holley NY. His Memorial Service will be celebrated Wednesday October 5th 2 PM at Hope Lutheran Church, Greece NY.   1. Grandpa, there’s too much to say about you! You were such an amazing person, and an incredible grandpa. You always went above and beyond and were always willing to help anyone. I appreciate all that you have done for me over my 26 years. I will love you forever, and you will always have a special place in my heart. Until we meet again.
