Deepest condolences to my old friend Bob and his entire family.
Bob and family,
I was stunned and crushed when I heard about Sylvia’s passing. Some of the best times of our lives (Carol, me and the kids) happened on camping trips and neighborhood outings with the “Ballad Avenue Gang.” A thousand laughs and stories between campfires kept us as friends for many years and I loved every bit of it. You, Silvia and the family will always be in my prayers. God Bless.
Tana,

Sylvia and I had a very close bond from childhood through adulthood. Although we lived long distances apart, our friendship remained the same. I will miss my best friend and confidant. Wonderful memories of all our times together will be with me always. My heartfelt sympathy to you all. Aunt Sylvia will, also, be missed by all of my family. Rest in peace, dear sister.

Sylvia or Mrs P as I always called her became my extra mum during my high school exchange year in 1988/89). Mrs P and Bob welcomed me into the family with a special warm feeling, smiling faces, caring for eachother and many loughs that continued during my year with the Paddens.
Looking back, it was a great year with many fantastic memories. Sometimes I wounder how Mrs P let me get away with some things I did or said. She had a fantastic personality and as some days for me where tougher being far away from family and friends somehow she always picked me up. She always treated me as one in the family – my extra mum!! My year with the Paddens shaped me more than I could believe at that time. I see it now, and for that I am very grateful. I have Mrs P and the family to thank for letting me become a part of a fantastic family that brings me great memories and friendship.
I miss you and I will never forget you and when I think of you I am smiling!
Take care whereever you are!
Love
Patrick
