Susan B Collins

Bergen: Peacefully, at her home on Saturday, August 15th, 2020 at age 73.

Predeceased by her parents, George Brown and Catherine (McKenna) Brown, husband Daniel B. Collins, sister Jacqueline and brother Charles.

Survived by her loving daughter Kimberly Holland and beloved grandson Tyler Holland, brothers Eddie(DeLynn), James(Tracy), and Timothy(Debbie) Brown, sisters Kathleen Brown, Patti Donahue, Julie (Tom)Wanglien, and Marybeth DiSano, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many, many dear friends.

Sue had a smile and a laugh that could brighten the darkest room and a soul that matched. She worked for Kodak for many years, then for PetSmart as a customer service phone representative, and then 12 years at her favorite job as a pharmacy technician for Wegmans until retiring this past July. She loved family trips to Disney World, anything Mickey Mouse, Hallmark movies, bingo, online backgammon, senior bus trips with her local recreation center, chocolate, and giraffes.

Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19th at 11am at the Church of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 152 Main St., Brockport NY 14420.

A note from Sue’s sister Patti:

Sue planned on taking her family to Hawaii to celebrate Tyler’s graduation from high school with the class of 2021. Sue fought fiercely to live for that trip and sadly her body couldn’t do it. In lieu of flowers, contributions could be made towards that dream and you can be assured that Sue would most certainly be there in spirit with her beloved daughter and grandson. Thank you!
