Greece: Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Predeceased by her husband, Walter Foos; sister, Edna Kolb. Survived by her loving daughter, Patricia (Gregory) Dangler; grandchildren, Andrew (Melissa) Dangler, Scott (Jessica) Dangler; great-grandsons, Matthew and Theodore Dangler; sisters, Helen (Robert) Fredericks, Dorothy Handt; sisters-in-law, Helen Reed, Mary Elizabeth (Donald) Murphy, Sister Kay Foos, SSJ; many dear friends. Shirley loved her dogs and will be greatly missed.
Friends may call Friday 4-8 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm or Visiting Nurse Service in her memory.

Shirley was a very special lady who will be missed by all of us who knew her. Pat, I know that Greg was especially fond of her and always spoke with such a high respect and regard for her. Shirley was a fellow Gemini, and that sharp sense of humor sure proved it. Having lost my mom 2 years ago,
there’s never a day that goes by that I don’t think of her. I hope both of you will do the same. Your sincere friend.

We were both saddened to learn the news of your Mom. Sending you love and healing thoughts during this difficult time. I got food poisoning Wednesday night and I am still very ill. Will try to get out to pay my respects, but it may not be possible. Please forgive me. We will keep you in both thought and prayer.
