  1. Always a bright smiling Sam sitting in the Little Red waiting room on the radiator waiting for his girls. Good memories. He will be missed.

  3. Even though I don’t remember Uncle Sammy, I keep him and the rest of our family in thoughts and prayers. It’s comforting to remember that our loved ones become young and free again in the next world.

  4. Our family’s summer vacations were extra special because of Uncle Sammy. In addition to taking us on excursions around Rochester, I’ll always remember his singing, especially yodeling. Thank you for the wonderful memories, Uncle Sammy..

  5. So very sorry to read about ‘my buddy’, Sam. He was one of my very favorite people at NYS Dept of Labor. A great guy!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all… Betsy

  6. Umpa,

Not only are u my grandfather, you are like a father to me, and someone I could always turn to. I know your in hevean now with grandma looking down on us and smiling. Know that having u walk me down the aisle on my wedding day was the best feeling in the world. I love u and ur my angel
    Love, Your baby girl Dena

  7. Uncle Sammy was my great-uncle, the brother of Mary, my grandmother. Though we didn’t get to spend much time with him, I felt as though I knew him well from all of the wonderful family stories I’ve heard throughout the years. He will be missed.
