Rochester: Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at age 87. Predeceased by his first wife, Peg P. Lipari; parents, John and Mary Lipari; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Ann Sinaguglia; 2 brothers, Angelo and John Lipari; 4 sisters, Rose Casacelli, Marie Shaver, Sally Cucinelli and Josephine Romano. Survived by his loving wife of 16 years Ita Lipari, his dear daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnne and John Antonacci and Mary Ellen and Timothy Fenlon; stepsons, Dr. Stephan and Ivana, Drs. Gordon and Siobhan and Dr. Mark and Mary Kuhar; grandchildren, Jolynn, Tara, Jenna, Timothy, Joelle and Jake; step grandchildren, Luke, Nicholas, Hannah, Ashley, Benjamin, Stefan and Matthew; brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Ann Marie Lipari; sister, Ann Rotella; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Sam was one of the founders of Kiwanis West Central Club in 1978 and he served two terms as President. He was one of the founders of the Al Sigl Sports committee and served on the board of directors for many years. He was president of Sam R. Lipari Insurance Company and a proud United States Army Veteran of WWII. He lived life to the fullest with a smile that never quit. Friends may call Sunday, April 6, 2014 1:00 – 4:00 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, April 7, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
