York SC: formerly Rochester NY, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at age 82. Survived by his wife of 32 years Rosemary (Bullock)Marino; his children: Mark (Judi) Marino, Sandra (Frank) Stackman, Chet (Julie) Marino, Valerie (James) Hargreaves, Glenn (Sandy) Marino, Chris (Debby) Marino and Timothy (Carrie) Marino; 16 grandchildren; 4 great- grandchildren; brother, Stephen Marino; sister, Francis Matarazzo; many loving family members and friends. Predeceased by his parents Luigi (Louis) Marino, Rose (Impelliteri) Marino, son, Craig Marino; brother, Robert Marino; sister, Isabella Marino. Sal worked at Eastman Kodak as a chemist for over 30 years. He enjoyed baking bread, cooking, fishing, golf, traveling and spending time with his family. Sal was a man of great knowledge, wisdom and had a generous heart. No prior calling. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday (November 8, 2013) 12 NOON at Holy Cross Church. Private Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004 in Salvatore's memory.

  1. I am so sorry to hear this news. Even though I have not seen Sal in a few years, I still considered him a friend.
    My thoughts and prayers are with Rosemary and family

  2. I was so very sorry to get the news Friday night when Bruce remembered to let me know. I definitely would have been there for the service. Sal was one of the nicest kindest men I’ve ever known and I have fond memories of him from my time on Maricrest. He was a wonderful friend and the perfect gentleman. My sincerest condolences to all of you.
