Greece: Ruth went to be with her Heavenly Father, Monday, November 26, 2012 after 97 years of helping everyone, she found her happiness in helping others. Predeceased by her lifelong husband, William Edgecombe; sister, Sybil Bailey; brother, Lawrence Rossman; great-granddaughter, Sydney Edgecombe. Survived by her sister, Virginia Quimby; sons, Ted (Pat), Gary (Terry), Wayne (Sherry); grandchildren, Alan, Todd, Toby, Trasey, Tara, Lona, Lora and Matt; great-grandchildren, Frankie, Dasia, Brayden, Connor and Chase; many nieces, nephews, dear friends.
Friends may call Thursday (Nov 29th) 2-4 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will follow calling Thursday 4:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Private Interment.

Dear Teddy and Pat, Gary and Terry, Wayne and Sherry, so very very sorry for the loss of your ever so kind and sweet mom Ruth, I know your really going to miss her. She was one of the sweetest woman that I ever met. I will never forget her beautiful smile and kind ways. I have no doubt she is with her husband and the Lord right now. You were very fortunate to have had such a loving mom. and grandmother to all your children. Im sorry I did not find out sooner, I just read it tonight in the paper.
