Roy G. Gallo Rochester: Friday, May 22, 2020 at age 83. Predeceased by his brothers, Victor Gallo, Donald Gallo; daughter-in-law, Sharon Gallo; brother-in-law Joseph DeSando. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carol Gallo; his children, Wendy (Kenneth) Kanis, Vincent Gallo, Sharon (Frank) Messina, David Gallo; grandchildren, Stephanie Kanis, Eric Kanis, Frankie Messina and Gabrielle Messina; sisters-in-law, Laima Gallo and Marge Gallo, Marilyn Aman, Mary Ann DeSando; brother-in-law, Larry Aman; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Private Interment, Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association in his memory. My deepest condolences to the Gallo family, I loved talking to Roy during his haircuts! We talked about the love we had for our family and of course beautiful cars! Such a sweet man, he will be missed!
My dearest condolences to the Gallo family, I was so sad to hear of Roy’s passing. I feel so blessed to have met him and enjoyed all our conversations during his haircuts. He loved telling me about his love of cars, and of course how proud he was of his kids and grandchildren.Carol you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
It was sad to see Roy’s name in the obituaries. Roy has been a long friend even though we have lost touch over the years but got together a couple of times with all of the the other guys and their wives. We wish you and your family well.
