Rochester: Friday, August 1, 2008 at age 84. Survived by her husband, Robert Lopiano; son, Christopher (Teri Ellison) Lopiano; daughter, Linda (Phillip) Leone; grandchildren, Antonio Lopiano, Dominic Lopiano, Laura Rose (Kevin) Donk; sisters, Emily (Robert) Lurie, Josephine (James) Talbott; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends.
Friends may call Sunday (Today) 2-5 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 9:30 A.M. at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.

Is the name ‘Ruth’ correct? I always knew her as Rosie. A wonderful person, a friend of the Condrat family. I was a ‘foster child’ and visited Rosie a lot growing up. She was always cheerful. We always said, ‘Can we visit Rosie and Lopie?’ She will be missed. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend the wake and funeral due to other committments and health. Sympathy and prayers to the family.
