Thursday, April 5, 2007 at age 89. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Margaret Van Nostrand; son, John (Sandra) Van Nostrand; sisters, Mabel Oristian, Blanche Van Nostrand; grandchildren, Lorin (Danielle) Van Nostrand, Stephanie (Doug) Dickman; great-grandchildren, Connor, Cody, Sarah, Joshua; several nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends may call Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. John's Home in his memory.

I want to say what a blessing it was to have known Roscoe and to have had the pleasure of assisting both he and Margaret. I will never forget his bright smile and wonderful sense of humor.
