Greece: July 5, 2009 at age 86. Survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Violet M. Cook; daughters, Patricia (Dana) Foglia, Penny (James) Gunter & Kathryn (Charles) Clark; grandchildren, Christopher (Melissa) Foglia, Lori (Joel) Lodge, Michael (Sarah Smith) Foglia, Sarah Kalen, Amy (Charles) Herrell, Lindsay (fiancé, Paul Wrazen) Clark & Kevin Clark; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Ciprianna, Jonah, Gavin & Lucy; sister-in-law, Marion Unwin; nieces, Judy & Nancy; nephew, Bruce; many dear friends. Roland is a Veteran of the United States Army Air Force.
Friends may call Tuesday, 4-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held, Wednesday, 11 A.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hope Lutheran Church or to TheAlzheimer’s Association in his memory.

Aunt Vi, Pat, Penny and Kathy – Even though we can’t be there with you, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Ron was such a special person to us and we will miss him but will always treasure the memories we have.

I will never forget Ron saying ‘Hi Nance’ as I entered the room. He was so much fun to be around, always having a funny or kind word to say. Rest In Peace dear Uncle Ronnie. Love, Your Neice Nancy.
Dear Aunt Vi and my cousins Pat, Penny and Kathy. Our thoughts an prayers are with you. I have some great memories of Uncle Ronny from when I was young and growing up in Rochester. Uncle Ronny was a special man… I will miss him.

Even though I haven’t seen Uncle Ron in a while, I am saddened by the fact that he is gone. We shared a Birthday, and he gave me my first ball glove when he and my father tought me how to play baseball-at a very young age. My condolences to Aunt Vi and the girls.
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Ron. I worked with him and played basketball and softball with him in the 1950’s at General Dynamics. He was a Wonderful FRIEND to be with! DICK PIERCE
I will always remember all the good times we shared at the cottage over the years. Those memories I will cherish always.

Pa was such a wonderful man. Always helping, encouraging, and loving. He helped make so many special memories for our family. He will always be remembered.
Sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I orked for Ron at General Dynamics. He was my immediate supervisor. He was a great man and pleasure to work for.

Ron was very special to Bruce and I, and with you both we shared so many happy times together. To me, Ron was the brother I never had. Words cannot ease the feelings of sorrow one has when losing a loved one. My blessings go to you Vi, and my lovely neices Pat, Penny and Kathy.
