  4. Yesterday at Bob’s funeral I looked forward and saw a very large group of beautiful people of all ages and realized that Shirley and Bob are responsible for three generations of good people who cared about him and continue his legacy of caring about each other and their world with great grace and good humor. Mary, thanks for introducing me to this wonderful man. I do understand why you all worked so hard to keep him home. Shirley, you are truly a wonderful wife who raised five wonderful daughters. Peace to each of you.
