Monday, July 13, 2009. Predeceased by his wife, Mary and daughter in law, Joy. Survived by his children, Robert W. Hargreaves, Lynne (Timothy) Battles, James (Valerie) Hargreaves; grandchildren, Hillary & Lindsay Battles, Michelle (Christopher) Taylor, Jeanne, Nathan, Christopher, Alexis and Jamie Hargreaves; great grand daughter, Jessa Grace Felter; sister, Elsie Cresswell; brother in law, Robert Halpin; and beloved nieces & nephews.
Friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Saturday, 3 PM in the chapel of Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. Interment, private. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in his memory.

I knew Bob for so many years and will not ever forget watching him wave to Mary on his way to work. Grew up with the kids – I am so very sorry for your loss. Bob was a wonderful man and I’m sure will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Several years ago, I had the privilege of being the social worker for Mary and Bob when Mary’s medical problems resulted in her being on home dialysis. And since Mary’s death, I have kept in contact with Bob via yearly Christmas greetings. He was a very sweet man and he was very proud of his family. I will miss receiving his ‘I am doing well’ messages each year.
We really liked Bob and we are sorry to see him go but he is in a better place and is with Mary again.
He was a very nice person and will be missed by all.
