Robert Howard Ghostlaw age 88 of Lima, NY passed away on Monday,
December 16, 2019 surrounded by family. Robert was born on August 13, 1931
in Bombay, NY and graduated from Bombay High School.Bob moved to Rochester,
NY to be with the love of his life Dorothy Yops to pursue a career at Graflex Inc.
where he worked for 35 years and then took a position at Rochester City School
District as lead painter. He married his high school sweetheart on February 27,
1954, this year would have been 66 years of marriage.
In his free time Robert enjoyed outdoor activities, working in his garage, always
helping family with home projects, and spending time at our family camp. But
most importantly he cherished time spent with family.
He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, sons and daughters in law Scott & Lynn
Ghostlaw of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, James Ghostlaw and Shelly Smith of
Mendon, NY, Donna & Steve Scutella of Rochester, NY. Grandchildren Lindsay &
Darrick Groet of West Bloomfield, NY, Robert William & Lauren Ghostlaw of
Honeoye Falls, NY, Julie Ghostlaw of Nairobi, Kenya, and Jamie & Geoff Anselm
of Rochester, NY. Great grandchildren Ethan & William Groet, Bailey Anselm, and
in May Bobby & Lauren will have a baby to join our family. Several nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Fred & Ester McDonald Ghostlaw, sisters
Marguerite (Bernard) Durant, Phyllis (Joseph) Gratton, Brothers Wayne (Georgia)
Ghostlaw, Bruce (Rita) Ghostlaw.
