Robert H. Coene

Greece: June 29, 2011 at age 75. Robert is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beverly Coene; children, Amy (Gregory) Bales & Robert Coene; grandchildren, Cayla, John & Tessa Bales, Danielle, Carly, Robert & Cameron Coene; brothers, James (Sue) Coene, Gary (Dotti) Coene, William (Diane) Coene & Charles (Karen) Coene; sister, Elizabeth Clevenger; many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins; dear friends.
Robert is a Veteran of the United States Marines, served during the Korean War and was a long-time member of the American Legion- Jacobson Post #474. His family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Shorewinds Nursing Home for their outstanding care and support.
Friends may call Tuesday, July 5th , 4-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held, Wednesday, July 6th, 10 A.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Brain Injury Association of NYS, 10 Colvin Avenue - Albany NY 12206-1242 in his memory.
