Greece: Monday, July 30, 2012 at age 74. Survived by his loving life partner Carol Nearing; sons, Robert, Michael, Daniel; daughters, Deborah Plewniak, Terri (Brian) Travis; grandchildren, Erika and Tyler Travis; many loving family and friends. Robert loved fishing , meeting friends over coffee on Sunday mornings and will be missed by all who knew him.

I never knew Robert but I always wanted too get to meet him. My mother is Deborah Plewniak. While I never got the opportunity to know my grandfather, the photo I have of him and my mother at Niagra Falls shows his bright energy, and I feel a loss in never having seen his smile in person.
