I am shocked after hearing of the news about Rickie today. I will always remeber the times we shared practicing in the basement of your old house and the friends we made along the way. Diana, please accept my condolences to you, Renee, Dustin, Kathy and Rickie’s mom who treated us all like her own sons. I’d like to call you in person to convey my sympathy since I need to tell you I wish I had given you a guys a call one of the times I was back in town. I miss Rochester most of all because of all the fond memories I have from great experiences and friends that you don’t appreciate until they’re gone. He was the best bass player I ever knew and his memory will never be forgotten. Thank you Diana for sharing some of your life with him, with the guys from Redeye. Our lives are the better having known him. Peace

  4. Diana,
We all write our own love stories and yours and Rick’s must have been a novel. You will have your memories and your love to which no one can take away….
There will be laughter, and tears (many tears)
But always remember that Rick lives within you now, close to your heart where he will remain forever.
You are blessed with 2 wonderful kids, grandkids and so many others who care for you deeply. I pray for you, my friend, that in the darkest part of the night you remember the love and happiness you and Rick shared and that it brings you a quiet peace….

  16. Rene, Tommy & Mitchell and Dustin & Dillion: I am so sorry for the loss of your father. He was a wonderful father to you as well as a grandfather to your children. Keeping his memories fresh in your childrens life will keep him near for them to have memories. I’ve had to do that with Nick as he never knew either of his grandfathers too. If there is anything at all we can do please do not hesitate to ask. We are here for you. God is protecting you all from this loss. Love and Prayers.

  17. Rick I miss you so dearly. I’m so thankful I had a moment to say hello to you on Tuesday. I have wonderful memories of you and all our fun times in Canada. I’m so lucky to have you in my life. You were an awesome musician, husband so caring, father so giving and father so loving. We will forever miss you and will never forget you. So glad we had that extra year plus with you. All of us will miss you dearly. God has brought you peace and comfort now and has called you to live with Him.

  18. Rick was a great man and loved his wife and family with all his heart….. He will be missed by all. He always stayed a good friend to me and i was blessed by our friendship.

  19. Rick was my cousin by relation, he is my brother in my heart and now my heart is beaten down, as low as it can get. No one can explain God’s will, as much as it hurts all of us, God had plans for Rick and we can take comfort that he is touching the face of the Lord. I will miss Rick for many reasons, his magic fingers playing guitar around a warm campfire, his rich voice accompanying the melody, the laughter of family members as he told the same stories every year, how I’ll miss that. Rick loved his yearly voyage to his beloved Wander In, always busting with excitement about catching ‘ the big one ‘, well my brother, you’ve completed your final voyage and there’s a ‘ big on ‘ on every line. I’m blessed you were part of my life and I will not forget you, it is not the end but a beginning, we will all be together again, what a street dance that will be. Your family will be fine, they are strong, the love is deep, we’ll pull together as a family and we will all continue forward, it’s a Graham thing, as you would often say. I love you Rick, your brother Dave.

  20. Rick you were the best supervisor an employee could wish for, I only wish I could have seen and talked with you before you passed.

    Your friend Rich

  21. Rick, I am so sorry you are gone. You will be missed very much by me and my family, Linda and Ernie, Dave and Vicky, Marty and Mary Grace, plus all their children. However, you are with your Uncle Don again and I sure he welcomed you with open arms. Get that guitar out and play a few songs, then take a nice ride on your motorcycle.

    Aunt Arlene

  22. Rick,
I’m gonna miss having my go to guitar tech (haha) but more importantly I’m gonna miss your friendship. growing up you were just the neighbor with the loud bikes but you became my friend. you brought me into your circle of friends and put me at the same level as them or at least made me feel that way. you tought me how to be a better musician, a better band mate, and a more confident player. I am eternally grateful for that. I’m gonna miss ya buddy. Thanks for everything.
    – ‘Little’ Jon

Rick was very close to our hearts & right now our hearts are truly broken. We are soo glad that Rick was able to go to Canada with us this summer. He truly enjoyed himself. We are going to miss him terribly. But his broken body now is whole & he is healthy. No more machine to be tied to. We will always be here for you guys.
