Greece:  Saturday, April 4, 2020; after a long and courageous battle with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy).Predeceased by his parents, Richard and Hulda Brockmann; father-in-law, Joseph Walczak; sister, Evelyn Teugeman.  Survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Wendy Walczak Brockmann; his son Richard (Tina) Brockmann Jr.; Step-daughters, Tamara (Michael) Schreiner, Cara (Todd) Laney; mother-in-law, Jeanne Walczak; sister, Alice Hall; sisters-in-law, Lynn (Walt) Kowalczuk; Barbara (John) O’Brien; brothers-in-law, Steve (Sally) Walczak, Gary (Sara) Walczak, Mark Walczak; grandchildren, Brianna and Nicholas Brockmann, Ashley (Anthony) LoBrutto, Michael and Morgan Schreiner, Jordan Frazier, Spencer and Camryn Laney; great grandson, Austin LoBrutto; beloved companion “Shiloh”; many special extended family, nieces, nephews and dear friends. 

 

Rich was a retiree of Eastman Kodak as a welder. Besides spending time with family, he enjoyed waterskiing, snow skiing, motorcycling, golfing and boating.

Rich loved assisting others by shuttling seniors to grocery shopping; he was a member of Swain Ski Patrol, enjoyed working as a motorcycle funeral escort and served many years as a devoted member of Wakan-Hubbard Masonic Lodge.

 

Rich’s services and celebration of life will be held at a later date.

  1. Wendy, we are so sorry for the loss of Richie….our whole family loved him and always enjoyed his smile and warm and caring ways. (My Dad always got a kick out of when he taught little Richie to tell my Dad: “How ya doing, Dude!” and my Mom even got him a t shirt with that on it. ) Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family.
