Irondequoit: Saturday, January 19, 2019. Predeceased by her husband, Harry H. Sherman. Survived by her daughter, Michele (Jeff) Wayman; grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas and Michael Leone, Michael and Natalie Wayman; lifelong friend, Sandy DiCesare; dear friend and caregiver, Stephanie Knittel; several cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of Unit 4300 at Unity Hospital for their care and compassion.
Friends may call Thursday (Jan 24th) 5-8 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday (Jan 25th) 11:00 AM in the All Seasons Chapel in White Haven Memorial Park. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Autism Council of Rochester or the Equi Center in her memory. Hay Michelle. So sorry to hear about your mom. Just remember she’s in a much better place than here. She’s with your Dad and they are teasing each other again. I have so many fond memories of Mrs. Sherman, especially the overnight visits at Honeoye Lake. Thinking you you Michele and your family.
Phyllis was a joy to be with and my family will miss her very much. Ours prayers are going up for Michelle and the children. God Bless you all.
So sad to hear this. Michelle, we had so many wonderful and fun times together when you all were growing up. Your Mom made the best German Potato Salad I have ever had! She was a special lady who loved to have a good time. May she rest in peace.
Michele I am heartbroken for you and the boys. Phyllis was one of a kind and will be missed. You are all in my prayers.
Michelle, I was so sorry to read about your Mom’s passing. My sincere sympathy goes out to you. I always think of her with a big smile on her face giving Dr. Harter a hard time. I am so glad I was able to get to know you and Phyllis. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
