Peter Drago
February 20, 1923 ~ June 26, 2010
Greece: Monday, July 26, 2010. Predeceased by his wife, Rosalie Drago; brothers, John and Louis Drago; sister, Rosalie Paone. Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Noreen (David) Hermans; grandson, David Hermans; great-grandchildren, Rae Ann and Jeremy Hermans; brother, Frank Drago; sister, Grace Drago; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Peter charished his time with the family at the cottage on Chaumont Bay, NY. Peter loved watching the New York Yankees, loved music, his family and his church. He was a lifelong member of the YMCA and a proud Army Veteran. The family would like to express their gratitude to Hilton East and The Shore Winds for the love and care Peter received.
Friends may call Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 9:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, West Ridge Road. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Northwest YMCA, 730 Long Pond Road or St. John the Evangelist Church West Ridge Road in his memory.
