Greece: Thursday, March 18, 2010. Predeceased by her husband, James Palmer; brother, Helmut Brunn and sister Anneliese Emrich. Survived by her daughter, Doris (Michael) Farrell; brother, Gerhard Brunn; sister-in-law, Hella Brunn; grandchildren, Kevin (Beth) Farrell; Corey (Lori) Farrell; great-grandchildren, Conor, Kathrine, Caitlin, Erin & Kyle; many nieces & nephews; also survived by a very special group of friends that we affectionately called 'The Gang'. Friends may call Saturday (May 22nd) 9-11 AM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Service will follow calling Saturday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Private, Entombment, Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Hamilton Manor Nursing Home or Lifetime Care Hospice in her memory

  1. Dear Doris,
    During the 10 months my dad was at Hamilton Manor we came to love your mom! I always had fun trying to get her to laugh, and many times enjoyed her showing me the family pictures that hung on her wall. I always felt that she must have been a real kicker in her day, because even when life wore her down, her personality always shone through! I recall how happy she would be when you visited.
    Many times over the past year and a half I have prayed for her. I found it too hard to go back to visit, but thought of her often. May she now rest in peace, having lived well.
