    Lots of love,

  2. Dear Pat,
We were very sad to see the notice of your Moms passing. We know what you must be feeling right now. Your Mom always had a smile for us when we would see her and you Dad at Grandville. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your Dad.

  3. Dear Stan,

We are so sorry to hear about Pat’s passing. I have the same wonderful memories of you and Pat as my brother, Roy does. We always talk about the wonderful Christmas Eve parties at the Edgewater that you and Pat put on on, Friday night dinners and the great music of the Dick Barrone Quartet. There just aren’t any places like the Edgewater anymore! What you and Pat had was special! My mom, Marge Roth, had her second wedding reception there, as did my two stepsisters. I always thought I would too, but unfortunately you had closed by then.

I have wonderful memories too of times at the Edelweiss Lodge in Naples and we enjoyed having you as neighbors at Henderson Harbor.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Wishing you the best.

    Dear Stan,

You are a figure larger than life in my childhood memories. Behind the bar at the Edgewater, everybody’s friend. We kids had so much fun there. JoAnn and I reminisce at every Chritmas how our stepfather Jim played Santa, and I recall vividly running and baseball sliding across the powdered dance floor. Just as vividly, I recall your cooking at the Edelweiss for deer hunters camped across every room on cots. Stirring a big kettle of soup with a big spoon, always taking care of everyone. And there were fish. Lots of fish. And everyone always stayed 39.
    Those were wonderful days.
God bless you as you greive. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  4. We are so glad that we had the opportunity to visit with you on your trips to California. We will always have fond memories.
