Guestbook

  1. **To finish my first entry** I am thankful that my son had Mrs DePinto as his first teacher. I believe he had the best, and she put him on a successful path for his future. I’m also thankful to her father. As I remember, he came in to help with the children on some occasions. They were good people. I hope that you can hold those thoughts in your hearts. God knows us as we come to him. God Bless her family

  2. Colleen and Family, we are so sorry and saddened to hear of this tragedy. I hope you find some comfort in the many beautiful memories you have shared over the years and know that their spirits live on within you. Please know that we are thinking and praying for you and your family during this difficult time.

  3. Even though you weren’t supposed to request a specific kindergarden teacher for your child, I did. I requested Patty for my oldest child because so many past parents & students loved and respected Patty! Both of my daughters were blessed to have her as their kindergarten teacher, and I was lucky enough to be a room mom in her class. We are incredibly saddened by the tragic deaths of Patty and her husband! May God bless them and their families.

  4. Frank, Vickie and family – I have been so devistated by the news of the terrible accident that has taken the lives of Patty and Jim. I have read all of the touching messages being sent by their friends. What beautiful testimonies of how Patty has made such a difference in the lives of so many of the children she taught. I will call you when I can pull myself together. Peg

  5. From the entire Crosier family, we were very lucky to have known Pat and Katie and Colleen while they were growing up. What an incredible tragedy for a wonderful family Katie and Colleen we are so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mom.

  6. I did not know Pat well as I was at Kirk Rd. but when our paths did meet I remember a great smile and a lot of laughs. She was well loved by so many and that is a great tribute to a life well lived.

  7. I had the privilige of working with Mrs. DePinto when my son was in her class. She was a wonderful teacher and a wonderful person. She will be missed terribly.

  8. I remember Jim’s grief when Cindy passed away. Later on, it was great to hear that Jim had married their kindergarten teacher! They are so lucky that they found each other and are now together for eternity. There are two more angels guiding us!! Love and peace to Pat’s daughters. He loved you so.

  9. I was so sad to hear about Mrs. DePinto. She taught both of my sons at Paddy Hill and we absolutely loved her! She retired the year my youngest started kdg, but still saw her around school all the time. She always had a smile on her face and you knew how much she loved teaching! The boys were so upset to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace. She will be forever missed!

  11. In sympathy for Patricia’s entire family. Mrs. DePinto was my son’s kindergarten teacher. I remember her very clearly because she put so many of my fears at ease. It isn’t easy to send your child to school for the first time, not knowing the people at school, or on the bus. How do you just let them go?! But meeting Mrs. DePinto, and seeing her easy manor with the children helped me to ‘let go’. That was 13 years ago, and now he is in his first year of college. Another sort of ‘letting go’. ** continued

  12. Mrs. DePinto was wonderful Kindergarten teacher. Our son Tyler had the honor to have Mrs. DePinto as a teacher. We remember ‘Winnie The Pooh’ visiting our house and writing about his stay in the journal – we were excited that Mrs. DePinto was a Winnie The Pooh fan like we are! Our daughter Jenna got to know Mrs. DePinto when Mrs. DePinto came back to sub at Paddy Hill. Jenna recalls singing the days of the week with Mrs. DePinto.

May the memories of their loved ones bring some comfort during this time if sorrow – the Depintos will be missed.

    Sincerely,
    The Curtis Family

  13. Mrs. DePinto was my daughter’s kindergarden teacher 13 years ago. To this day, I have so much respect for her as she was absolutely the best thing that ever happened for our daughter. She was the epitomy of what a teacher should be. I can still recall word for word what she told my husband and I at our first parent teacher conference. She made such a difference! She will forever be in our hearts and will live on through all of the lives she touched! You are all in our thoughts and prayers!

  14. Mrs. DePinto was our daughter Shaelyn’s kindergarten teacher. We are thankful that we got to know such a wonderful person. She will be greatly missed. Our sympathies are with your families.

  15. My condolences to all of the family and friends. Such a tragedy is very despairing. The Bible holds out such a wonderful promise for the near future:
‘He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more.’- Revelation 21:4.
I hope this brings the needed comfort for which it is intended.

  16. My deepest sympathy to Frank and Vicki,
in the loss of Patricia. I waited 45 minutes in line, and could not stay any longer. My prayers are with you, at this time.

  17. My heart goes out to the family. Such a great loss. Mrs. DePinto touched so many lives. Those of her students’, their parents and the community. We truly feel that she gave our daughter an excellent base to which to build her educational career upon. Her spirit will live on in all of her students. Thank you, Patty for your dedication to our children’s education.

  18. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family at the loss of both Jim and Patricia. I taught with Patricia in Greece, and taught her lovely daughter, Katie. Both Jason and Mark were students at Odyssey. It is so very sad to lose such beautiful people, both of whom touched many, many lives. God Bless.

  19. Pat & Jim will be sadly missed, I have known Pat for many years as a alumni from Mooney to my kids Kindergarden teacher and as Mark & Jason’s teacher and Jim’s wife, you have made such a diffrence in peoples lives and you will be sadly missed, God Bless you and Jim and may the perpetual light shine upon your family.
