Greece: Friday, April 26, 2019 at age 94. Predeceased by her husband, Edward G. Legler; son, Gregg E. Legler. Survived by her children, Gary (Susan) Legler, Lynn A. (Anthony) Bianchi, Glen (Lisa) Legler, Lisa (Walter) Bullard, Gene (Deborah) Legler; daughter-in-law, Judith B. Legler; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Noreen was a loving wife and mother. Special thanks to niece Janice Tantalo and her husband Paul for their love and support. The family wishes to thank the NYS Veterans Home in Batavia for their loving care.
Friends may call Monday April 29th 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 30th 9:30 AM at Holy Cross Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cure HHT, PO Box 329, Monkton, MD 21111 (curehht.org) or Holy Cross Church 4492 Lake Avenue Rochester, NY 14612 in her memory. I’m sorry to the whole family for your lose. Noreen was my mom’s best friend and I always enjoyed seeing them and their group of friends get together. What a special time they all had. I’m sure Eddie, Noreen, Hank, Arlene and the rest of their group are playing ‘scat’ right now. Peace.
I am sorry for your loss. Gene is a good friend of mine and he taught me how not to focus on my loss but instead rejoice in the love and memories you have. He shared that with me about both his parents. They both must have been special people who were truly loved.
