Florida: Suddenly on November 26, 2010. Melissa is predeceased by her father, Raymond E. Grape and nephew, Kevin Grape. She is survived by her loving mother, Audrey K. Grape; son, Tyler Kruskamp; brother, Rick (Peg) Grape; nephews, Ryan (Janae) Grape, Brett (Kailey) Grape; great nephew, Jamieson Grape and several cousins.
Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday January 15th, 1 P.M. at Greece United Methodist Church, 1924 Maiden Lane. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greece United Methodist Church in her memory.

Dear Audrey, Tyler, Rick, Peg, Ryan, Brett, and family members,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
Melissa has brought so much joy into all the lives she touched, and mine is no exception. I met Melissa in church and we played as kids, and our moms’ were friends. We were also friends as teenagers and shared wonderful times in Cape Vincent and hanging out at the mall. I remember meeting Tyler and taking him places before I had my own son. I was sad when she moved away to Florida in the late 90’s , and I missed her and Tyler very much.
Anyone who knew Melissa knows that no one could light up a room like her. Her presence was magical anywhere she was. She was intelligent, and beautiful inside and out. Her laughter was contagious, and she could make me easily forget any problem I had no matter what. I have never know anyone like her.
Grief can be so hard during the holidays, but hopefully sharing our special memories of Melissa with family and close friends will help us cope,and feel some peace in our hearts.
