On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, Mary went home to be with the Lord; her beloved husband, Billy; brother John; sisters-in-law, Marie, Margaret and Lala. She is survived by her devoted children, Audrey (John) Blocchi, Trevor (Donna Bour- Purdy) Purdy, Valerie (Dennis) Johnston, Barbara (Joe) Sturnick, Colin (Lynn) Purdy; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; nieces, nephews & cousins; many loving family and dear friends.
Mary was devoted to faith and family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Grande Ville Assisted Living and Highland Hospital E5 for the exceptional care given to Mary.
Mary’s visitation will be held Friday, February 3rd 4 – 7 PM at Vay- Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will be celebrated Saturday, February 4th 10:00 AM at Lakeview Community Church 30 Long Pond Road. Audrey, Trevor, Valerie, Barbara and Colin and your families, So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. So many memories of us growing up on Marwood. One of my favorite stories was when our dog, Peppy, you remember what a hound he was. When he stole a roast off your grill and your mom said not a word about it. We did not find out until years later. Hope some memories help during this difficult time.
