Mary M. Lomonaco Storti

February 19, 2020 at the age of 90 years old, finally at peace after a long and debilitating battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Predeceased by parents Charles and Josephine (Cropo) Lomonaco, sister Irene (Lomonaco) Studley. Survived by loving husband of 66 years, Dominic R. Storti and beloved children: Deborah (Otto) Freyler, RenaJo (Thomas Dini) Storti. Doting grandmother to Steven Freyler, Maya Dini, and Tricia Dini. Devoted sister to Helen Augello, Ann Crocetta, Joan Baug, Linda (Michael) Noce and brother Joseph (Becki) Lomonaco; caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Mary’s favorite days were spent with family, especially her grandchildren who gave her much joy in her life and whom she lovingly cared for on a daily basis. She cherished her siblings, nieces and nephews and often showed her love by organizing family events where everyone could be together. Mary would lovingly prepare large meals and baked several types of italian cookies for every family wedding and baby shower. Balancing an early morning production career while maintaining a traditional household was one of her many demonstrations of strength and determination in everything she did.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Edna Tina Wilson Living Center and Lifetime Hospice Care for Mary’s ongoing compassionate care.

Mary’s visitation will be held Wednesday, February 26th 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 27th, 9:30 AM at St. Lawrence Church 1000 N. Greece Road. Entombment, Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory. For more information and to sign her online guestbook, visit www.meesonfamily.com

Guestbook

  1. I have never forgotten the time (many years ago) when Mr. & Mrs. Storti invited me to share their dinner on Christmas Day. My car had broken down and it was the first time I was not able to drive to my parents home to spend Christmas with my family. They were so generous and kind.
