Greece: Thursday, February 5, 2009. Predeceased by her parents, James and Rachel Petrone; brother, Anthony Petrone. Survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Ronald F. Collins; sisters-in-law, Grace Petrone, Darlene Baughman; brother and sister-in law, Douglas (Stephany) Collins; several nieces, nephews and cousins; several great-nieces and great-nephews; many dear friends. Friends may call Monday 4-7 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the funeral home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice in her memory.

  1. I bowled with Mary Lou at Dewey Gardens in the mid eighties with her friend Mary Jane. She was such fun. She had so many sayings for cetain shots we would make and always made us laugh. I was just looking at one of our old team photos the other day ….Ron our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family… sincerely Lisa, Vickie, and Linda

  2. I have known Mary Lou since 1959.I new her parents and her brother.Mary Lou and I were students of the first graduating class of East High School in 1960.My wife and I wish to offer our condolences to her husband and all of the members of her family .

    I knew Mary Lou from when she came in to the Health Center. It was always such a joy to see her smiling face at the window, especially if I was having a bad day. She was one of my favorites and will be sadly missed.
    Keep her smile in your heart forever Ron.

  7. We have known Mary for many years.From grammar school to graduating from East High School.What a joy it was to see Mary at our last high school reunion.Mary and her husband lived next door to us on Meredith St..We were close neighbors and missed them
