Greece: passed away peacefully on August 2, 2014. She was born in Rochester on March 29, 1927 to Mary Margaret (Hassett} Snell and Herbert Snell. She was a graduate of John Marshall High School and the Rochester Business Institute. She worked in the secretarial capacity at General Railway Signal and Eastman Kodak Company. On October 25, 1955 Mary Jane wed Alfred Rabideau of Plattsburgh, N.Y. at Sacred Heart Cathedral, a blessed union that lasted 37 years until Alfred's passing in 1992. Mary Jane was a devoted mother who enjoyed all family gatherings, especially summer vacations with her children and grandchildren. She was also a dedicated volunteer for Hospice and St. Ann's Home for many years. Mary Jane is survived by sons; Alan J. (Rebecca) Rabideau of Buffalo, Gary M. (Jill) Rabideau of Natick, MA., and daughter Anne M. (Michael) Hennessy of Sherrill, NY; grandchildren, Carol and Joseph Hennessy, Bryce and Alicia Rabideau and Genevieve Rabideau; brothers, Paul (Donna) Snell and Richard Snell; sisters-in-law, Gloria Snell and Jeanette Reeves; brother-in-law, James Alessi; many cherished nieces and nephews. Mary Jane was pre-deceased by brothers, Walter and Raymond; sister, Arlene; sisters-in-laws, Dorothy and Jean. Mary Jane's Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 7th at 11:00AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue. Interment will be held privately in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
