Rochester: Friday, July 6, 2018. Predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years years, Alfred Sandy. Her sisters Ruth Shannon, Jane Anderson and Helen Jardine. She is survived by her children: Alfred Sandy Jr. (Ruth), James Sandy (J Ann), Linda Jacobs (Harvey), Robert Sandy (MaryJo) and Karen Destino. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Jason Sandy (Dow), Joshua Sandy, Sherrén Sandy, Margot Sandy, Kelly Steidl ( Nick), Daniel Jacobs (Wiebka), Micheal Sandy (Mindy), Robert Sandy (Amanda), Melissa Harris (Chase), Tracy Birge (Jerry), Courtney Puccia (Thadd), Tony Destino ( Lani) and great grandchildren Avery, Elliott, Jacob, Mia, Bentley, Ava, AJ and Soleil. Thank you the to staff at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center. Her Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 9th, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Community Christian Church 2647 Chili Ave., opposite Westside Drive. No flowers please. A Memorial in Mary’s name may be made to the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, 1048 University Ave, Rochester 14607 or American Diabetes Association, 160 Allens Creek Road, Rochester NY in her memory. .   2. My deepest sympathy to you all. Mary was one in a million. I hold many fond memories of both Al and Mary from the days of nursing school with Linda..they were both great to me. Rest in peace.

    I’m so sorry for your loss!, I’m forever grateful to Aunt Mary and Uncle Al for letting me stay with them some 30 yrs ago during one of my college internships and getting to know you guys that summer. I’m just sorry we all lost touch but I’ll never forget how special and loving your mom and dad were!
